Resources for Household Workers
“Rights Begin at Home: Defending Domestic Workers’ Rights in California” is an online advocates’ guide developed by Mujeres Unidas y Activas and the Women’s Collective of La Raza Centro Legal. “Rights Begin at Home” will ensure that more advocates and household workers around the state know and defend their rights. The guide was created in collaboration with the National Employment Law Project and features data collected through a participatory research project about the domestic work industry in the Bay Area with the help of the DataCenter.
